Havic's Gone Wild

If eight people travel in two cars, for four miles, at 5 mph, how many different species can they see? No, this is not a TAKS question, it's simply a segue for our trip to The Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. I figure we spotted (and fed) many of the forty sum-odd there.

My folks made the trip from H-town to see the animals. Dad (Prince Of Wails for all you THers) in his dino-cammo attire, and Mrs. Wails, who loves him anyway.

It was a fun day!

A new post!

Looks fun! Never heard of some of those animals. You're dad was hard to spot in the dino pic, but then he was hard to miss when I saw his shorts. :) You're one kid too many...friend of the oldests? What's up w/ S's knee?

Nothing's as easy as the Easy Button. It occasionally goes off in my kitchen drawer when I throw somethin in it. Yes, I have one.

Hope Llama's like paint. ;)

Yeah, guess I was due for a new one. Needed a break for awhile.

It was. Picnic lunch to start off, car ride through a bunch a exotics. There were more critters on another road, but that woulda meant goin back through the zebra area (which was very popular and extremely time consumin).

The extra kid is oldest's best friend (basically our weekend kid).

'Ol Wailer dresses unique, that's for sure. Glad he toned it down that day;)

And yes, it's just that easy.

I, for one, am a big fan of orange. And plaid. So he's alright in my book.

I'm guessing not as much as I get. Let me check out what my spam counter says since it was installed (sometime after I started my blog) ...

Here's what it says (spam protection program title deleted so as to not to give the spammer the knowledge as how I'm fighting him): "(title deleted) has protected your site from 14,266 spam comments already, and there are 27 comments in your spam queue right now."

Looks like fun, we've been to the caverns, (a long time ago) but not the wildlife park. Someday, someday.

My suggestion would be to not do it on Labor Day weekend, very crowded.
