Rebecca Creek

The other day I was out near Canyon Lake and came across a spot that the family and I used to frequent. They've closed most of it off now to exploring and fishing, so I thought I'd capture it in some pics.

First Green Job

Ok, so I'm hitting golf balls the other day and I notice that the putting green at this particular range looks alittle..well...shoddy. So I talk w/ the owner and he agrees to let me paint it. Here's the results. I should mention that I was low on GreenLawnger (the grass dye) so I wasn't able to get it as dark as I'da liked.

Before

After
So-so result imo.

Texas Sized Doughnut

I shot up to Austin this past weekend
to play alittle golf w/ my dad; unfortunately
I forgot to take the dig camera.
I did however bring one of these home.

Recently, that award winning TV show,
"Man vs. Food" (ok, but it COULD win an
award at some point) showcased this
place.

The Good Life

If for some reason I'm off on the whole "Christian" thing & the Hindus or Buddhists (or both, whichever) are right about reincarnation, I wanna come back as a pet in my own household.

Curb Appeal

The oldest now has her drivers license and she's an excellent, tho inexperienced driver. She passed her driving test w/ flyin colors. She aced the parallel parking, nailed the complete stop at lights portion; she even did well at signal while changing lanes part, which most forget to do.

Missed it by thaaaat much.

Normally she likes to have
her
picture taken.

Unfortunately they don't teach fancy sunken parking lot landscape pit avoidance in drivers ed.

Walls Only

Sheetrock.

It comes in sheets (and trust me) after awhile, it does fill like your hefting rocks. For the past couple of years I've hung a
lot of it; I've taped and floated alot of it; and I've sanded it..alot. Texture too: orange peel, montery, acoustic (pop corn for you laymen), knock down, heavy splatter, old world; even the occasional old-school sand-tex. No complaints, it pays the bills. But occasionaly someone actually wants to PAINT their house. So w/out further ado, I present to you a Reck interior paint job...walls only.

Got walls?
