A Bird In The Hand

The other day, outside our back door, we heard some extra loud chirpin. Upon examination there were a couple a birds that were quite upset. Here's why. This little fella had fallin outta
nest in one of our trees. Youngest got
down on the ground and the little guy went
straight to her and climbed in her hands.




When I stuck em back in his nest I think he and his sibs thought it was supper time.
This evening dogs and I went out back to check on the nest, but Buster soon got bored and wanted back in.
Here's a common occurrence in our front yard.


UPDATE: They've all left the nest now. Here's one of em perched on the branch of another tree. Yep, the nest is empty. Shot of gulls from oldest's trip to Corpus this weekend.
