Ahhh...fall. Autumn ushers in the change of seasons, it means that the holidays are near, and for the Havic's it's campin time. This year we headed east and set up camp at Palmetto State Park , just outside of Gonzales. And while the fishin bit (no, not literally or figuratively) we had a great time.

And gotta fishin...
We were joined by the Wail's, tho they failed to"cowboy up" and actually sleep at the campsite.
We did
alotta hiking...And saw alotta
these...
And one of these...
And even had time for
the obligatory rest stop.
Whether for warmth, food or fellowship
the campfire was a popular spot.
