First Green Job
Ok, so I'm hitting golf balls the other day and I notice that the putting green at this particular range looks alittle..well...shoddy. So I talk w/ the owner and he agrees to let me paint it. Here's the results. I should mention that I was low on GreenLawnger (the grass dye) so I wasn't able to get it as dark as I'da liked.
I think if you're lookin for pics for a portfolio, I'd get before and after from the exact same angle. Know what I mean? You can surely see the difference and it looks good..but I'd shoot the before from the same place I shot the after. It's more obvious that way. Just my 2 cents.
You're rite. Unfortunetly the ones that I did like that were either fuzzy or poorly lit. I shoulda taken multiple (from the same spot) w/ diff camera settings.
It definitely looks better. I was curious about a job. (our house) I was wondering what you'd charge. We'd want to pay full price though.
#2 is this, we're having a church seminar in Houston on Mem. Day Wknd. It starts at 1 on the saturday. Classes sat afternoon. Classes sunday from 9-11, and church from 11-1. If you're interested in the seminar it's $50 per adult, students $30 but $120 max per family. The website is www.gtrhc.org. If you just happened to be in Houston, the service Sunday morning is free. You could probably go to the sunday morning classes too. The last one was in SA about a year and a half ago and we couldn't afford it, but we went down Sun AM, hit the morning classes and service. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.

Suppose We Really Found Him?
"There comes a moment when the children who have been playing at burglars hush suddenly: was that a real footstep in the hall? There comes a moment when people who have been dabbling in religion (man's search for God) suddenly draw back. Supposing we really found Him? We never meant it to come to that! Worse still, supposing He had found us?" C.S. Lewis from Miracles

Actually, it was a free-be. I had planned to use pics in my portfolio but not sure I will now.
