Great pics! Ahhhh...the baseball hat. That's more like it. Nice t-shirts in the first photo. ;) I liked you in the goatee, too. Looks good on ya.

Think I'm close to packed.

Thanks, from our honeymoon in the Bahamas...oh yeah!

Btw, close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.

How are the games comin?

We're losin both. Not helping my stress level.

My rents are picking me up at 1:15 tomorrow so I have some time in the morning to finish up.

I've already been lectured from my friend in Utah about my sunscreen usage. "This is NOT Michigan sun!" "You HAVE to wear 30 spf!" sheesh...how's a girl supposed to get a tan?

Ha..I just added a picture of me at the GB show. I'll take it down later. Just wait till I meet him in June! Geez, ya know, I've not gotten the tickets to that convention yet. Gonna start getting concerned.

That dinosaur picture reminds me of Green Bay this New Years. There was a dinosaur kinda like that one, with a cheese hat on, on this corner at a gas station. We kept drivin by it (we 3 couples), till we finally pulled in and made an attendant take our picture w/ it. Course we were deep in snow and the guy thought we were nuts.

RecknHavic said...

Dinos and snow, that's classic.

Pulled the meez thing till I can figure out the privacy portions.

D told me this morn to be careful and don't do anything stupid. ha. ME?? It was well intentioned, but it reminded me of something my dad would say so I had to laugh. It's gotta be hard to get in any trouble in Utah, right? Oh. Er, I may have that backwards.

Well, if you see any Mormons, just don't make eye contact. If they give ya any trouble, just mention Beck's name, you should be alright then.

Hey, that zoo hadn't changed for a long time. Do you know if they got the new section open? The last time we were there (january when we saw Timmy) It was close to being finished.

RecknHavic said...

Not sure, been a few years since we've been. Little S and I were goin there awhile back (was very crowded) and went to Whitte instead. We do love the little train. Something 'bout ridin that train and wavin to strangers that makes you feel like a VIP.

Hello from Utah! Plane didn't crash, and it's really pretty here. Heading to Zion tomorrow...just wanted to say hi.

RecknHavic said...

Glad you made it in one piece. Was readin some stats on plane crashes. Apparently your 5 times as likely to die from a natural cause/accident/ect ON a plane, as opposed to a crash.
I'm just sayn...

Nestor said...

That's a wonderful piece of encouragement Reck. ;)

Anonymous said...

Yeah, I won't be thinkin about THAT on Tuesday. Way to encourage my psycho-sematic tendencies.

I'm looking at mountains.

Ok, I just told that little nugget of trivia to my girlfriend here, (she's an airline pilot) and she added that even if you DO die on the plane, they don't tell anybody. So they won't let anyone, even if there's a doctor on board, call the death till they're on the ground and you're off their plane. So I guess technically, you're 5 times as likely to die immediately AFTER your plane lands, than in a crash. :)

Hey reck thanks for hanging out. We had lots of fun and your wife is very hot. You are lucky! She is a very sweet lady and I hope we can hang out again soon. By the way your baby girl is soooooooo good, she is such a pleasure to be around. Whatever you guys do to her it's working.

RecknHavic said...

Hey, thanks Carmen, I think she is too!

The secret w/ kids is lots
and lots a benadryl.

I'm kiddin.

We enjoyed it as well. My only regret is I got full and forgot about that desert you made. Next time..next time.

Yalls kiddos were a joy too. I'll admit I fell in love w/ the little one. And "rino", he's the man.

We'll definately do it again.

Just curious L, Airplane your pilot friend's favorite movie?
"I'm over Under, and Under's over Done."

RecknHavic said...

Just a thought, but if they won't let ya know about THAT, what else will they not tell ya?

Amtrack here I come.

Reg. "Airplane". She laughed and shook her head no. (Mouth full a popcorn.)

I think I said "wow" about 30 times this weekend. The view won't translate w/ pictures, but I'll put some up when I get home.

There's LOTS of Mormons here. Heading to downtown SLC today, only saw the Temple from the highway. No signs of Glenn yet, but I'm not done looking. ;)

RecknHavic said...

Ok, surely the 3RD over-time is it, eh?

Anonymous said...

This is a really good time to be in this time zone. It's only 10:30! I'm good to go! Detroit people must be bent stayin up this late.

RecknHavic said...

Hey, I'm home. And glad to be.

So Lost was good? Haven't seen it yet, and it doesn't look like it got Tivoed, so I'll have to see if I can watch it on line.

I bought this book at the airport...sort of a 'everything you need to know about Mormons' type thing. But I ended up sitting next to one on the plane and didn't think it was a good idea to crack it open. I considered asking him questions, cuz we were bein friendly, and I think they dig that, but I didn't want Evan mistaking my curiosity for interest with intention. That temple is one beautiful building.

Well, between the altitude change, the time change, and stayin up late and gettin up early to spend more time w/ my buds, I'm knackered. Catch ya'll tomorrow....

Thought For The Day

Stan Rosenthal said...

Thanks, Linda.

So Reck, what did your protest (or was it really a anti-protest) sign say?

RecknHavic said...

It said, "Support The Troops".

Stan Rosenthal said...

IMHO, a protest sign that supports the troops (probably the most) is one that says "No Blood For Oil!".

RecknHavic said...

Stan, you're probably one a those "I support the troops but I don't support the war" types, eh?

This is kinda like sayn "I support my team, I just hope they lose this game".

Yes. I'm on the side of reality.

> This is kinda like sayn "I support my team, I just hope they lose this game".

Garbage. Attack my real argument instead of the "straw man" you invent to attack instead of attacking my real argument.

RecknHavic said...

Propose a real argument and I promise I'll attack it.
"No blood for oil" IS a straw man, my friend.
